Memory Care

Individuals living with Alzheimer’s, or any other type of dementia, require more specialized care. At Villa Palazzo Memory Care, we embrace the Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® program developed by Dr. Cameron Camp, the founder and director of research and development at the Center for Applied Research in Dementia. This program focuses on a holistic and personalized care approach with an emphasis on physical and cognitive abilities, which bring dignity and a sense of purpose to each resident.

Our Memory Care neighborhood is designed to foster a community-based experience for the residents, their families, and the staff caring for them. Group engagement programs help to establish social roles and create a sense of belonging, while singular care plans encourage personal choice and autonomy. This combination of programs ensures that each resident sustains a sense of purpose and engagement while emphasizing personal independence.

No matter what stage of dementia your loved one is experiencing, Villa Palazzo’s Montessori Inspired Lifestyle® program fosters independence, belonging and purpose, while providing the safety and security those suffering from dementia require.
